SIIL is engaged in the manufacturing of a complete range of industrial explosives and explosive initiating devices. It manufactures various types of packaged emulsion explosives, bulk explosives, and explosive initiating systems. Additionally, the company has diversified into manufacturing ammunition for military applications. SIIL boasts the world's largest packaged explosives manufacturing facility at a single location in Nagpur, India. With a pan-India presence, SIIL operates 39 manufacturing facilities. Internationally, Solar Industries has a footprint in over 90+ countries with manufacturing facilities in 10 nations.

The manufacturing area spans over 3,500,000 square feet, with an additional 1,500,000 square feet dedicated to Explosive storage houses. The company specializes in producing industrial explosives and related products for the mining and infrastructure sectors.
